Known as the most bombed hotel (from back in the 90s) I found the hotel to good, clean and in a good location. Opposite is a pub that's worth a visit. I was given a room on the top floor (lucky I'm not scared of heights) which meant I hoped for a view, but all I saw was offices across the street and the sun was extremely bright in the morning. Only stayed 1 night but the hotel was good and I'd recommend. Was very busy, especially at breakfast but service was very good. Room was a good size but no air con
First off the staff is friendly and managers are very helpful. Room was exceptional had a small issue with the temperature but was soon sorted after staff had helped sort it. Room had a excellent view of the city couldn’t complain. The food from the restaurant was on another level tasted nice just wish there was a wee bit more how ever all in all excellent staff in restaurant and hotel maybe back again

One of the better hotels in downtown Belfast, great service as expected from a 5-star hotel. The room was kept immaculate condition and when I had a some issues with a leaky faucet, it was attended to immediately and rectified. The food from the B&B restaurant was decent. Whilst it wasn't a wide spread of food as you may find in some large hotel chains, the food choices were decent and sufficient for most people. The hot food is a separate option, of which I would recommend if you are the type that prefers a good omelette or something warm in the mornings. The only downside: There were some renovation/construction works nearby, which for some reason went on well into the night and thus caused a bit of noise pollution, which doesn't go well if you are a light sleeper.
Great hotel. Nice decor. Clean spacious bathroom. GREAT SERVICE . Front desk will do anything for you. Concierge Phil is totally nice. He treats you like a long lost cousin. Breakfast is super. And efficient. Location is good, too. If I need to go to Belfast, this is the hotel I would stay.

We really enjoyed my stay on Saturday 21st July for a hen party. The staff done everything to make are stay enjoyable and we felt well taken care off. We done the cocktail making class and Paul who took the class was amazing and we went out to dinner in the restaurant and the boy mark was also amazing very funny and Katie at the front desk was 5 star. I will definitely stay again and recommend the hotel. Thank you
Hotel is in a great location, near to all shops, pubs, restaurants and public transport. The staff where very friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable and kitted out with everything you need including a mini fridge (bonus points). We used the pool, Jacuzzi etc again all kept very clean. The bar area was very relaxing. Really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. Will try out the spa next time, prices were reasonable just didn't have the time.

Nice old pub in central Belfast, with a huge choice of local, national and international beers. Food is excellent, and service is brilliant. It can be tricky to get a table, but if you're lucky you can grab one as people are leaving. Alternatively you can have a drink at the bar while waiting for a table to become free. Highly recommended for lunch and drinks.
Amazing food! The scampi is renowned but the chef adaptdd0tgd chicken risotto for me and served it on a bed of salad instead with sweet potato fries. It was absolutely delicious! Amazing flavours and textures. Our waiter was excellent too, so helpful and accommodating, with a lovely southern accent. Thank you all for making our daughter's birthday dinner so special.

Fantastic staff. So friendly and helpful. We had a Gluten free person in our group so we really appreciated that. Delicious food and a great selection of beer. Vintage design interior. Can't ask for more.
Reading other reviews it’s difficult to believe we are all talking about the same place. Belfast on a busy Saturday night in the middle of the Gay Pride festival . Everywhere was rammed and we wandered the streets looking for somewhere to eat. Stumbled across the Morning Star and went upstairs to the dining area. Staff were very helpful and food was delicious (amongst best we have had anywhere !!) . Had a wonderful meal and enjoyable evening 👍

Great wee bar with claims to be the oldest in Belfast. Friendly staff who will go out of their way to help, cosy fire (in winter), good selection of beers and spirits. Also very good food!
Friendly, professional staff and very nice atmosphere. Always a nice and happy experience. Lovely pub grub and very nice beers and a good selection of rare spirits.
