Europa Hotel

Great Victoria St, Belfast BT2 7AP, UK – 028 9027 1066

Known as the most bombed hotel (from back in the 90s) I found the hotel to good, clean and in a good location. Opposite is a pub that's worth a visit. I was given a room on the top floor (lucky I'm not scared of heights) which meant I hoped for a view, but all I saw was offices across the street and the sun was extremely bright in the morning. Only stayed 1 night but the hotel was good and I'd recommend. Was very busy, especially at breakfast but service was very good. Room was a good size but no air con

First off the staff is friendly and managers are very helpful. Room was exceptional had a small issue with the temperature but was soon sorted after staff had helped sort it. Room had a excellent view of the city couldn’t complain. The food from the restaurant was on another level tasted nice just wish there was a wee bit more how ever all in all excellent staff in restaurant and hotel maybe back again

Fitzwilliam Hotel Belfast

1-3 Great Victoria St, Belfast BT2 7BQ, UK – 028 9044 2080

One of the better hotels in downtown Belfast, great service as expected from a 5-star hotel. The room was kept immaculate condition and when I had a some issues with a leaky faucet, it was attended to immediately and rectified. The food from the B&B restaurant was decent. Whilst it wasn't a wide spread of food as you may find in some large hotel chains, the food choices were decent and sufficient for most people. The hot food is a separate option, of which I would recommend if you are the type that prefers a good omelette or something warm in the mornings. The only downside: There were some renovation/construction works nearby, which for some reason went on well into the night and thus caused a bit of noise pollution, which doesn't go well if you are a light sleeper.

Great hotel. Nice decor. Clean spacious bathroom. GREAT SERVICE . Front desk will do anything for you. Concierge Phil is totally nice. He treats you like a long lost cousin. Breakfast is super. And efficient. Location is good, too. If I need to go to Belfast, this is the hotel I would stay.

Clayton Hotel Belfast

22-26, Ormeau Ave, Belfast BT2 8HS, UK – 028 9032 8511

We really enjoyed my stay on Saturday 21st July for a hen party. The staff done everything to make are stay enjoyable and we felt well taken care off. We done the cocktail making class and Paul who took the class was amazing and we went out to dinner in the restaurant and the boy mark was also amazing very funny and Katie at the front desk was 5 star. I will definitely stay again and recommend the hotel. Thank you

Hotel is in a great location, near to all shops, pubs, restaurants and public transport. The staff where very friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable and kitted out with everything you need including a mini fridge (bonus points). We used the pool, Jacuzzi etc again all kept very clean. The bar area was very relaxing. Really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. Will try out the spa next time, prices were reasonable just didn't have the time.

Pubs, Gastro Pubs and Bars

The Garrick

29 Chichester St, Belfast BT1 4JB, UK – 028 9032 1984

Nice old pub in central Belfast, with a huge choice of local, national and international beers. Food is excellent, and service is brilliant. It can be tricky to get a table, but if you're lucky you can grab one as people are leaving. Alternatively you can have a drink at the bar while waiting for a table to become free. Highly recommended for lunch and drinks.

Amazing food! The scampi is renowned but the chef adaptdd0tgd chicken risotto for me and served it on a bed of salad instead with sweet potato fries. It was absolutely delicious! Amazing flavours and textures. Our waiter was excellent too, so helpful and accommodating, with a lovely southern accent. Thank you all for making our daughter's birthday dinner so special.

The Morning Star

17-19 Pottingers Entry, Belfast BT1 4DT, UK – 028 9023 5986

Fantastic staff. So friendly and helpful. We had a Gluten free person in our group so we really appreciated that. Delicious food and a great selection of beer. Vintage design interior. Can't ask for more.

Reading other reviews it’s difficult to believe we are all talking about the same place. Belfast on a busy Saturday night in the middle of the Gay Pride festival . Everywhere was rammed and we wandered the streets looking for somewhere to eat. Stumbled across the Morning Star and went upstairs to the dining area. Staff were very helpful and food was delicious (amongst best we have had anywhere !!) . Had a wonderful meal and enjoyable evening 👍

Whites Tavern

2-4 Winecellar Entry, Belfast BT1 1QN, UK – 028 9031 2582

Great wee bar with claims to be the oldest in Belfast. Friendly staff who will go out of their way to help, cosy fire (in winter), good selection of beers and spirits. Also very good food!

Friendly, professional staff and very nice atmosphere. Always a nice and happy experience. Lovely pub grub and very nice beers and a good selection of rare spirits.

Travel Super Market search and compare prices for hotels all over the world. Could also be useful for you. I This said I was told by a hotelier that the way to get cheap rooms is to ring up the week before and ask for the weekend rate. You can usually get an absolute bargain as they will trying to book all the rooms that they have not sold! Could be worth a try!

Self Catering Belfast

Salisbury Ct, Belfast BT7 1DD, UK – 028 9336 8255

A perfect place to stay. Not only is the situated in a perfect place to explore Belfast from, being only two minutes from one of the main streets, but the apartment is immaculate. There's a lounge with leather sofas, flat screen TV, good internet speeds and WiFi coverage. The kitchen has electric hob, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge freezer. There's a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, and in the single ground floor apartment. The beds are extremely comfy. All of the sheets, towels are in perfect condition. Honestly couldn't ask for more. There was even tea, coffee, sugar, jams, shower gel, shampoo and moisturiser left for us to use.

A lovely apartment close to the city. Home away from home. The

City Resorts

St George's Harbour Apartments, East Bridge Street, Belfast BT1 3SG, UK – 028 9087 2457

We have stayed a few times in these apartments and they are fantastic. Clean, comfortable and very central to everything. The owners are so helpful and can’t do enough for you, will definitely be back and thoroughly recommend .

We’ve stayed twice now with City Resorts and both times were great. The waterfront apartments were very clean and comfortable and the location was perfect for both of our very short stays. St George’s Market nearby is well worth a visit.

Betty's Little Cottage

29 Sunningdale Park, Belfast BT14 6RW, UK

I had a fantastic stay at Betty’s little cottage last night. I want to thank Walter for his hospitality and friendliness. I would recommend anyone to stay for a fantastic and memorable experience . Thanks again Walter. John Rooney

Lovely garden setting...comfortable space for two. Walter is a very gracious, helpful and caring host who takes pride in his Airbnb property. Great location.

You can find excellent very well priced accommodation around Belfast using Airbnb!

We run an Airbnb bed and breakfast down in Devon (house below) - and we have stayed in Airbnb accommodation all over the place. You can find the wonderful little gems with totally committed hosts and really frightful places which you put down to experience! You absolutely have to read the details of each listing - and read the reviews! We have had people coming to East Quither Farm expecting to take over our whole house -  or our kitchen etc simply because they have not read the description. Basically use Airbnb wherever we go - but we do do our homework!

Bed & Breakfast Accommodation plus Guesthouses

Greenmount Bed and Breakfast

45 Andersonstown Rd, Belfast BT11 9AF, UK – 028 9061 3529

Excellent little B&B. We booked at late notice so expected high prices. We were very impressed by the price and the quality! The rooms have free Wi-Fi and USB charging points, but lack the usual tea/coffee making facilities (there is however access to a communal kitchen should you want a hot drink). There is easy access to fast food and shops as well as public transport as it is located on a main road (which can make the rooms a little noisy). The overall impression is good, but the building is a little run down and could use a few repairs. This being said, I would recommend to family and friends.

The bed was heavenly. The personal and other guests very friendly. We could put our beer into the fridge. It was cheap. Okay the toilett was very small. I thought always its gonna break next time i sit on it, but who cares. Its just for one or two nights... the breakfast was not that good... but for the price okay. You could eat as much as you wanted.. We forgot about the check in time, but the owner was very friendly and helped us. Greets from Germany :)

Springfield Bed and Breakfast

16 Springfield Rd, Belfast BT12 7AG, UK – 07711 971188

Charming Kevin and June. Comfortable room and delicious breakfast . Thanks!

The place is really clean and Nice. The breakfast is really good with some options to choose. The only bad thing is the Wi-Fi connection.

Maryville House Bed and Breakfast & Afternoon Tea

2 Maryville Park, Belfast BT9 6LN, UK – 028 9068 1510

What a great spot. Classy. Lovely. Great tray bakes food and coffee. The ambiance alone is worth the visit. Staff are lovely too

Visited yesterday and was very pleased with the service and the presentation provided. My granddaughter got it as a Christmas present for me and my husband.Really loved it.Had afternoon tea which was absolutely beautiful. If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!
