As I have a cheap bike from some other place, problem keep coming to me. First time been there and got the wheel trued, people are nice. When I got another problem (completely unrelated issue as first time, the wheel that was trued stay nice), I return without a doubt. Got everything fixed in one day, feeling better than riding on a new bike. I seldom write reviews and even I do I rarely have no negative thought, but this shop and its people simply amuse me. All in way a cheaper price than I expected as well. Recommend. 5 stars. What else can I say. ----------------------------------------------- Update: Got Some problem and wanna ask the mechanic, got helpful advice and bike riding smooth again
Got a wheel trued. No problem whatsoever. Fast, friendly and professional. Will be bringing my bikes here from now on.

I am writing this review as a prospective customer for a Brompton shopping online. First port of call from another person was a company called chain reaction. However they did not stock this premium product. However they kindly directed me to Bromptons website on a reply email. This led me to McConvey via Google somehow. Anyhow I put in a phone call and was attended to by Paul. He was very professional and as requested sent me the details by email of their Brompton stock. As a first contact it was very good service. I know it's hard to please the entire public 100% of the time and reviews are a mitigating factor in today's business world. As MConvey has 4.1 it shows a majority are receiving excellent service and I will pursue this inquiry further and hopefully secure an excellent deal and good future relationship. Thanks Paul. I will be in touch. 02/08/18 I am updating this review as I since purchased the Brompton P6 Raw Lacquer finish, and am very pleased with the product and service I received. I was also given a rewards card and good discount on the purchase along with a first free service to tighten everything up after riding. Here's to enjoying the bike and the adventures....
Very grateful for the service I've received here. Informative and attentive staff. I've been in a few times for repairs and each time they have been very prompt and accommodating. I'd highly recommend them.

Thanks Slane cycles for fantastic service , product supplied is perfect, could not believe how quickly you got it to me, I've used most other cycle sites your service is certainly 5 star .
Awesome technical knowledge and customer service/support. I had a problem with my groupset and Slane Cycles pulled out all the stops to resolve the fault on 2 occasions.

I came from the US on vacation looking for a week long road bike rental. I called Belfast city bike tours with no prior notice and within a few hours Norman dropped off a Fuji sportif (in great condition!) to my rental cottage, along with spare tubes / puncture kits / tire levers / air pump. I’m an avid road cyclist so I was thrilled to get a serviceable bike in good condition so easily. The gears were indexed properly, the brakes set well, and Norman has no issues with me attaching my own saddle and pedals for the week. Fantastic service!
What an amazing day with Gary, Danielle and Norman!! We left our cruise ship right off of the ship and then travelled 22km around Belfast. All 11 of us on bikes that accommodated ages 53 to 3. What a great way to see the city and more importantly to make new friends. Can’t recommend these guys enough. Thank you for a great day guys (and lady!).

A welcome service but it seems the bikes could be better distributed to meet commuter patterns. Too many times key stations are empty.
Belfast bikes is one of the most convenient ways to commute around the city centre

Mo Gallagher and I go way way back - to the days of Mad Frog in the late 90's. I've known him always to be a pure down to earth bike loving Belfast guy, ready to do just whatever it takes to make a job done right, not a job done quick. On many occasions I've seen him pick up the pieces left hanging off by the other shops in the area, and rebuild, reassert and re-position riders back on track again, even when all the odds are against him time wise - quite often you'll see the lights on in the shop after what we all think are normal hours. Give him a go, he'll never see you wrong! He knows more about bikes that Stephen Hawking knows about the universe!!
Friendly helpful guys , who have a passion for what they are doing . Quick and reliable repair service at reasonable rates by proper bike mechanics .
